KSE-100 Continues Downward Trajectory, Closes 1,490 Points Lower

Karachi: The KSE-100 index saw a bearish trend throughout the trading session, closing 1,490 points lower at 112,030. The index reached a session low of 2,085, with trading volumes dropping by 9% compared to the previous day.

According to a statement by AKD Securities Limited, the technical chart revealed a black body candle in the last session. Over the past 10 trading days, the index has seen 7 black candles out of 10, indicating a net of 4 black candles. While volatility remains low compared to the average of the last 10 sessions, analysts anticipate increased volatility and sharp price movements in the near future.

The technical analysis highlighted key support near 111,400. A break below this level could lead to further declines towards 110,800 and 110,300. On the upside, initial resistance is identified at 112,600, with further targets at 113,500 and 114,500.

Traders are advised to adopt a cautious trading approach. Position accumulation is recommended near support levels, while risks should be clearly defined below the support zone.
