Karachi: The KSE-100 index experienced a bullish trading session, closing significantly higher and marking an increase in market activity. The index rose to an intraday high of 4,077 points and ultimately settled 3,881 points higher at 171,725. Trading volumes surged by approximately 54% compared to the previous day.
According to AKD Securities Limited, the KSE-100 index remains 16.0% below the upper Bollinger Band, with the bands being 24.53% narrower than usual. Over the last 10 sessions, the index has seen three bullish and seven bearish sessions, leading to a net of four negative closes.
