KSE-100 Index Closes Lower Amid Low Trading Volumes

Karachi: The KSE-100 index experienced a decline on its latest trading session, closing 319 points lower at 155,858, as market activity remained subdued with significantly reduced trading volumes. The index opened positively but exhibited volatility, fluctuating between an intraday high of 2,447 points and a low of 525 points.

According to AKD Securities Limited, the trading volumes were approximately 20% lower compared to the previous session. Over the past 10 trading sessions, the market has seen 4 positive and 6 negative closes, resulting in a net of 2 negative sessions.
