KSE-100 Index Closes Strong with a Notable 1,078 Points Gain.


Karachi: The KSE-100 index experienced a robust session as it opened strong and maintained its bullish momentum throughout, reaching a peak of 1,299 points and closing at 91,938, marking an increase of 1,078 points. Trading volumes surged by 35% compared to the previous session, indicating heightened investor activity. The index displayed a bullish gap on normal volume, suggesting a possible continuation of the current trend.



According to AKD Securities Limited, the MACD indicator remains bullish as it trades above its signal line, having crossed it 51 sessions ago. Since this crossover, the local bourse has seen a 16.68% increase, fluctuating between a high of 92,159 and a low of 77,990. The chart analysis suggests initial support for the index near 91,600 points, with potential weaknesses leading to the 91,200 and 90,800-point levels if this support is breached. On the other hand, resistance is anticipated initially around 92,500, with further targets set at 93,000 and 93,500 points. Investors are advised to consider accumulating positions, ensuring risks are managed below the identified support zone.
