The index reached an intraday high of 657 points and a low of 1,103 points, eventually closing with a loss of 752 points at 160,935.
Market participation saw a notable decline, with trading volumes dropping by 42% compared to the previous session. Despite this, the KSE-100 remained 50.0% above the lower Bollinger Band, although the Bands are currently 17.12% narrower than their usual width.
Over the past ten sessions, the index has shown an equal number of positive and negative closes, with five of each. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator has turned bullish, moving above its signal line in the latest session. Since this crossover, the index has fluctuated between a high of 162,345 and a low of 160,584.
