KSE-100 Index Faces Consolidation as Market Dynamics Evolve

Karachi: The KSE-100 index saw a continuation of range-bound activity, closing 207 points lower at 180,105, signaling a period of consolidation in the market. Trading volumes increased to 891 million shares from the previous 744 million. Market analysts suggest the index may test resistance levels between 181,430 and 182,350, with potential gains extending to 183,634 and possibly the all-time high of 191,033. A decline below 180,035 could see the index targeting the 30-day moving average (30-DMA) at 178,659, followed by the 50-DMA at 177,674.
