Karachi: The KSE-100 index saw a notable increase yesterday, climbing 755 points to close at 82,722. A total of 319 million shares were traded during the day. The top performers based on price changes were FFC, NML, and FFBL, while MARI, TRG, and KOSM were among the top decliners. The sectors that saw the most activity included Cements, Technology, and Fertilizer.

According to Taurus Securities Limited, the performance across various sectors was mixed, with significant activity noted particularly in the cements, technology, and fertilizer sectors. The market’s rise was driven by robust trading, evidenced by the high volume of shares exchanged.

The stock market’s upward trajectory underscores a dynamic trading session, where certain stocks like FFC, NML, and FFBL witnessed substantial gains, contrasting with declines in others such as MARI, TRG, and KOSM.
