KSE-100 Index Sees Modest Gains, Potential for Continued Bullish Momentum

Karachi: The KSE-100 index witnessed modest gains in its latest trading session, closing up by 49 points at 80,283, despite not maintaining its intraday high of 80,889.

According to JS Global, the index struggled to hold its peak during the day but managed to end on a positive note with an increase from the previous session's close. The trading volume slightly decreased to 497 million shares compared to 537 million shares in the prior session. Analysts at JS Global predict that if the index surpasses its recent high, it will likely propel further into bullish territory with targets set at 81,135 and 82,329. Conversely, a drop below the support levels of 79,680 to 79,980 could trigger a corrective trend. The technical indicators, including the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), currently support a positive outlook. The firm advises investors to 'Buy on dips' with a stop loss positioned below 79,697. Defined support and resistance levels are placed at 79,982 and 80,736, respectively.
