Karachi: The KSE-100 index experienced a day of volatility on the trading floor, ultimately closing 809 points higher at 151,208. The session opened on a negative note and saw fluctuations within an intraday low of 2,627 points and a high of 1,476 points. Despite the market's erratic movements, trading volumes remained consistent with the previous session.

According to AKD Securities Limited, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator continues to reflect a bullish trend, maintaining its position above the signal line after crossing over 10 sessions ago. Nevertheless, since this crossover, the index has seen a decline of about 1.00%, oscillating between a high of 158,586 and a low of 144,657.

This technical pattern suggests that market participants may witness further upward movement, contingent on market dynamics.
