The index reached an intraday peak of 2,892 points before closing 2,106 points higher at 178,200, with trading volumes increasing by 21% compared to the previous day.
According to AKD Securities Limited, the KSE-100 is currently trading 4.8% above its 200-period moving average, sustaining its upward trend. Volatility has remained consistent with the average of the last 10 trading sessions, indicating stability. Volume indicators show a balanced market, suggesting a neutral outlook. The daily Parabolic SAR is positioned below the market level, supporting the bullish sentiment, while the RSI has reached its highest level in 14 periods, indicating strengthening upward momentum.
The report identifies immediate support at 177,500, with potential declines to 175,500 and 174,300 if breached. Resistance is projected at 179,200, followed by 180,000 and 181,100. It suggests accumulating positions with risk management below the support zone.
