Islamabad: The KSE 100 index exhibited robust growth on September 10, 2025, climbing 457.27 points to close at 157,020.80, a 0.29% increase.
This positive movement occurred despite a noticeable drop in trading activity. Regular market turnover decreased to 996,270,293 shares from the previous day's 1,068,521,605 shares. Traded value in the regular market also experienced a decline, settling at 52,727,937,110 compared to 55,190,442,878 on the previous day.
The KSE 30 index mirrored this upward trend, adding 84.28 points to reach 48,080.41, a 0.18% rise. Intraday trading saw the KSE 100 reach a high of 157,479.42 and a low of 156,079.53, while the KSE 30 fluctuated between 48,292.25 and 47,859.65. Market capitalization expanded slightly to 18,359,001,829,897 from 18,294,267,041,821. Futures trading saw increased volume, reaching 188,633,000 shares compared to 164,855,000 shares the previous day, with the value rising to 11,491,102,825 from 10,557,913,420.
