KSE-100 Rebounds with Strong Momentum Amid Rising Volumes

Karachi: The KSE-100 index experienced a robust rebound, closing with a notable gain of 4,899 points to settle at 161,632. The session saw a positive opening and maintained strong bullish momentum throughout, reaching an intraday high of 5,461 points. This rally marked a significant shift, as trading volumes increased by 8% compared to the previous session.

The session's activity was characterized by a large bullish candle on the chart, signaling strong upward sentiment and reinforcing the index's solid support. Over the past ten trading sessions, the index has recorded three positive and seven negative closings, resulting in a net of four negative sessions.

From a technical standpoint, immediate support for the index is observed at 161,100. Analysts caution that a breach below this level could lead to further declines toward 160,700 and 159,700. Conversely, resistance is anticipated at 161,800, with subsequent levels at 162,500 and 163,100. Market participants are advised to accumulate positions near the support zone, with defined risk limits below it.
