KSE Indices Decline Amid Decreased Turnover and Market Value

Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) indices experienced a notable decline, with the KSE30 and KSE100 indices dropping by 1,774.69 points and 5,405.48 points, respectively, as reported in the daily stock market report. The percentage decrease stood at 3.69% for the KSE30 and 3.41% for the KSE100, marking a significant downturn in the market performance.

According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the current market turnover reached 521,631,266, a decrease from the previous figure of 612,361,080. The traded value also fell to 27,138,840,154 from 34,597,731,238. The market capitalization witnessed a reduction, now standing at 17,049,671,470,203 compared to the previous 17,584,596,552,328. The report further detailed that the Direct Foreign Capital (DFC) turnover remained relatively stable with a slight decrease, while the Open Debt Listing (ODL) figures saw a notable drop in both turnover and traded value.
