Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange experienced a decline in its main indices on June 23, 2026, as both the KSE30 and KSE100 indexes fell by 0.33% and 0.44% respectively. The turnover for regular trading decreased, alongside a drop in market capitalization compared to the previous trading session.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the KSE30 index closed at 53,022.89, down from the previous 53,200.20, while the KSE100 index finished at 177,692.92, a decline from 178,471.87. The turnover for regular trading fell to 765,142,982 from 807,467,345 shares, and the traded value decreased to 35,442,600,101 from 36,174,719,173. The market capitalization also saw a dip, ending at 19,935,529,311,953 compared to the previous 19,976,013,669,363.
The day's trading saw the KSE30 index reach a high of 53,494.14 and a low of 52,952.30, while the KSE100 index recorded a high of 179,405.56 and a low of 177,674.37. The decline in indices was accompanied by a reduction in traded value across regular and other trading forms, contributing to the overall decrease in market performance.
