Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange indices experienced a downturn on June 29, 2026, with both the KSE30 and KSE100 showing a decline from their previous positions. The KSE30 fell by 435.57 points, closing at 53,112.84, while the KSE100 dropped by 1,156.47 points, settling at 178,414.80. This decline represents a percentage decrease of 0.81% for the KSE30 and 0.64% for the KSE100.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the market turnover showed a slight increase with 869,380,984 shares traded compared to the previous 851,298,910. However, the traded value saw a significant drop, falling from 40,380,750,944 to 43,946,084,866. The market capitalization also experienced a decrease, reaching 20,020,042,436,672 from the previous 20,134,517,818,454.
The daily report highlighted that the day’s highest values reached 53,769.28 for the KSE30 and 180,272.02 for the KSE100, with the lowest values recorded at 53,105.30 and 178,331.00, respectively. The DFC turnover and traded value also showed a marked decline, with 129,540,500 shares compared to the previous 738,511,000, and a traded value of 6,959,594,695 down from 34,104,655,270.
