Islamabad: The KSE 30 and KSE 100 indices experienced modest gains on September 24, 2025, closing at 48,235.21 and 158,236.68 respectively. This represents a slight increase of 0.17% and 0.18% from the previous day's closing figures of 48,152.17 and 157,945.03.
Despite the indices' upward movement, the regular market turnover saw a significant jump, reaching 1,780,973,159 shares compared to the previous day's 1,521,517,383. This surge in trading activity was coupled with a decrease in traded value, falling from 58,725,407,892 to 54,522,922,699. Market capitalization witnessed a marginal rise, reaching 18,694,289,070,019 from 18,632,468,072,866.
The futures market experienced a slight increase in turnover, with 477,942,000 shares traded compared to 473,929,000 the day before. However, the traded value in futures contracts declined from 33,764,394,130 to 29,009,249,915.
