Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) indices experienced a slight decline on July 30, 2026, with both the KSE30 and KSE100 indices showing a decrease in their respective values. The KSE30 index fell by 158.47 points, closing at 52,475.51, while the KSE100 index dropped by 495 points, ending the session at 175,547.98.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the decrease in indices was accompanied by an increase in market turnover. The regular market turnover rose to 711,200,933 from the previous 574,075,552, reflecting a higher traded value of 25,396,365,915 compared to the preceding 25,369,263,260. Despite the increased activity, the market capitalization saw a decrease, closing at 19,717,570,575,985, down from 19,778,152,478,356.
The day's trading witnessed fluctuations, with the KSE30 reaching a high of 52,705.86 and a low of 52,144.95, while the KSE100 recorded a high of 176,234.29 and a low of 174,612.15. The percentage change for both indices was -0.30 for KSE30 and -0.28 for KSE100. In the Deliverable Future Contracts (DFC) segment, a decrease was noted in both turnover and traded value, while no activity was recorded in the Cash Settled Futures (CSF) segment.
