Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange experienced a decline in its main indices on July 24, 2026, with both the KSE30 and KSE100 showing negative movement. The KSE30 fell by 264.77 points to close at 50,951.99, while the KSE100 dropped by 718.25 points, ending the day at 171,021.20.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the downturn in the indices was accompanied by a decrease in market activity. The turnover for regular market activity rose to 579,944,661 from 525,122,101, although this increase did not translate into higher market capitalization, which slipped to 19,278,392,118,912 from 19,360,633,220,317. The traded value for the regular market also saw a slight increase to 23,896,066,570 from the previous 23,428,338,481.
In the derivatives market, the DFC turnover increased to 191,880,000 from 156,958,500, with a corresponding rise in traded value to 7,510,716,510 from 6,357,058,210. However, the ODL turnover and traded value experienced a significant drop, with turnover decreasing to 936 from 2,989, and traded value falling to 25,925 from 64,061. The CSF activity remained inactive with no recorded turnover or traded value.
