Trading activity showed a marked increase as the overall turnover reached 1,190,534,879 shares compared to the previous session's 1,031,799,762 shares. The traded value also saw a dip, with the current session recording 50,493,977,080 compared to the previous 51,316,902,831.
The market capitalization remained relatively stable, reported at 19,289,763,292,318, a slight increase from the previous figure of 19,275,428,022,847. The day's trading range showed the KSE30 index reaching a high of 51,919.32 and a low of 51,386.25, while the KSE100 index peaked at 170,697.75 and bottomed at 169,239.24.
Sector-wise, the Regular Market (REG) showed a higher trading volume, significantly contributing to the day's turnover. Meanwhile, the Deliverable Futures Contracts (DFC) and Open Deliveries (ODL) markets also noted increased activity, with DFC turnover rising to 282,518,000 from the previous 232,797,500.
