According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the day’s trading session was characterized by decreased market activity, as evidenced by the turnover and traded value figures. The regular market saw a turnover of 1,054,061,234 shares, down from the previous session's 1,165,254,379 shares. Traded value also dropped significantly from 54,942,437,670 to 37,293,533,828. Market capitalization decreased to 18,971,013,946,277, a notable decline from the previous figure of 19,161,402,470,827.
The indices reached their daily highs at 52,702.42 and 173,452.66 but fell to lows of 51,949.77 and 171,254.82, indicating volatility throughout the trading session. Additionally, the DFC and ODL categories registered declines in both turnover and traded value, with no change in the CSF sector.
