Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) indices saw a minor decline on October 2, 2026, as trading volumes decreased compared to the previous session. The KSE30 index fell by 111.06 points to close at 50,151.61, while the broader KSE100 index dropped by 481.36 points, settling at 168,155.49.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the day's trading high for the KSE30 was recorded at 50,371.76, and the low at 49,981.83. The KSE100 index experienced a high of 168,854.47 and a low of 167,685.43. The overall market turnover decreased from 548,380,518 shares to 493,957,145 shares, with the traded value slipping from 17,053,543,829 to 17,491,130,287.
The market capitalization saw a slight reduction, moving from 18,776,371,608,812 to 18,725,525,051,750. In the Derivatives Futures Contract (DFC) segment, the volume dropped from 135,548,000 to 94,041,500, while the traded value lowered to 5,370,296,790 from 5,408,424,925. Other segments, including Odd Lot Deals (ODL) and Carryover Stock Futures (CSF), reported minimal activity.
