KSE Indices Show Moderate Gains Amid Active Trading

Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange witnessed moderate gains as the KSE30 and KSE100 indices closed higher on February 4, 2026. The KSE30 rose by 247.84 points to close at 57,539.97, while the broader KSE100 index increased by 931.34 points, finishing at 187,832.08. Both indices reached their respective highs for the day at 57,737.30 and 188,312.21.

According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the day's trading saw an uptick in activity, with a significant increase in turnover and traded value. The regular market segment reported a turnover of 1,195,264,357 shares, compared to 848,559,214 shares in the previous session. The traded value in this segment decreased to 44,101,690,941 from 50,025,901,020. Market capitalization showed a rise, reaching 21,278,479,382,524 from the previous 21,149,478,547,301.

The day also saw fluctuations in other metrics such as the delivery futures contracts (DFC) and odd-lot dealings (ODL), with DFC turnover increasing to 283,568,500 from 179,774,000, though its traded value saw a decline. No activity was recorded in the cash-settled future (CSF) segment.
