Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) indices posted modest gains on October 7, 2026, with both the KSE30 and KSE100 experiencing slight increases. The KSE30 index rose by 42.89 points to close at 50,388.99, while the KSE100 index increased by 120.30 points, reaching 168,580.41.

According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the market showed an uptick in trading activity with a notable increase in turnover. The regular market turnover climbed to 586,861,636 from the previous 432,015,539, and the traded value surged to 22,365,283,321 from 20,139,215,669. The market capitalization also saw a rise, reaching 18,747,509,514,136 from the previous 18,712,193,387,957. The Deferred Delivery Contracts (DFC) and Odd Lot Deals (ODL) segments also reported increased activity, with turnovers of 174,910,000 and 3,263, respectively.
