KARACHI: Pakistan's stock market showed modest gains as the KSE30 and KSE100 indices posted increases on Thursday. The KSE30 rose by 133.49 points to close at 50,591.33, while the KSE100 climbed 276.16 points to 169,703.60, reflecting percentage changes of 0.26% and 0.16%, respectively.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the market's turnover saw a slight decrease, with 771,934,243 shares traded compared to the previous day's 791,636,197. The traded value, however, increased to 27,050,895,503 from 25,483,501,993. Market capitalization also rose, reaching 18,876,723,488,247 from 18,848,490,826,810. Despite the declines in DFC turnover and traded value, the overall sentiment remained positive amid the trading session.
