KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) indices demonstrated marginal gains on September 22, 2026, with the KSE30 and KSE100 indices both closing higher than their previous sessions.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the KSE30 index closed at 50,998.57 points, an increase of 96.59 points or 0.19 percent from the previous closing of 50,901.99 points. Similarly, the KSE100 index saw a rise of 248.92 points, or 0.15 percent, closing at 171,402.08 points compared to the previous 171,153.17 points.
The market experienced mixed trading activity with a turnover of 641,834,495 shares in the regular market, down from 692,884,098 shares in the previous session. The traded value also saw a decline, with the current value at 18,466,149,096 compared to the previous 20,100,373,169. Market capitalization showed a slight increase, moving from 19,041,426,906,532 to 19,093,984,793,589.
In the Deliverable Futures Contracts (DFC) market, turnover increased to 505,609,500 shares from 368,488,500 shares, and the traded value rose to 17,489,021,265 from 15,354,820,985. Meanwhile, the Odd Lots (ODL) market showed a minor increase in turnover to 2,982 from 2,893, with a traded value of 52,114 compared to the previous 57,553. The Cash Settled Futures (CSF) market recorded no activity.
