Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) witnessed notable gains on Thursday, with both the KSE30 and KSE100 indices experiencing significant increases in their values. The KSE30 index rose by 570.01 points, closing at 54,391.82, while the KSE100 index saw a rise of 1,761.66 points, reaching 181,776.60.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the KSE30 and KSE100 indices recorded high points of 54,455.55 and 182,007.04, respectively. The turnover for regular trading (REG) increased to 793,353,361 from the previous 740,558,844, with a traded value of 40,313,042,460 compared to the previous 35,907,407,648. The market capitalization also rose to 20,263,676,714,923 from 20,090,096,555,053.
The report indicated a decline in the turnover for Direct Foreign Companies (DFC) from 232,396,500 to 189,927,500, while the traded value increased slightly to 9,405,398,600 from 9,337,176,335. The Open Daily Limit (ODL) showed a minor increase in turnover and traded value from 2,241 to 2,337 and from 34,946 to 46,231, respectively. The Capital Subscription Fund (CSF) remained unchanged in its trading activity.
