Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange saw a notable uptick on September 23, 2026, as both the KSE30 and KSE100 indices experienced gains. The KSE30 index closed at 51,283.80, marking an increase of 285.23 points, while the KSE100 ended the day at 172,232.51, up by 830.43 points. This positive movement reflects a 0.56% rise for the KSE30 and a 0.48% increase for the KSE100.

According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the day's trading activity was robust, with the regular market turnover reaching 773,593,742 shares, compared to the previous day's 641,834,495 shares. The traded value also rose significantly to 26,453,393,949 from 18,466,149,096. Market capitalization observed an upward shift, closing at 19,178,716,735,687 from the prior 19,093,984,793,589.

The derivatives market witnessed a decline in activity, with the DFC turnover decreasing to 456,574,000 from 505,609,500, and the ODL turnover falling to 1,903 from 2,982. No trading was recorded in the CSF segment for the day.
