KSE Indices Surge as Market Capitalization Hits New High

Karachi: Pakistan's stock market indices experienced a notable surge, with both the KSE30 and KSE100 indices closing significantly higher as of June 15, 2026. The KSE30 index climbed to 52,890.43, up from the previous 51,428.16, while the KSE100 index rose to 177,039.83 from 172,399.90, marking percentage increases of 2.84% and 2.69%, respectively.

According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the market witnessed significant trading activity, with turnover increasing to 988,081,026 shares from 890,797,183 shares previously. The traded value rose to 63,477,228,866 from 41,985,812,896. The market capitalization also reached a new high of 19,732,999,875,229 compared to 19,120,169,189,335 previously, reflecting increased investor confidence. The DFC turnover and traded value saw increases as well, contributing to the overall market momentum.
