KSE Indices Surge as Market Sees Record Turnover

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a notable rise in indices on September 5, 2025, with substantial gains in both the KSE30 and KSE100. The KSE30 index rose to 47,063.22 from a previous close of 46,499.67, while the KSE100 index advanced to 154,277.19 from 152,665.72.

The KSE30 index achieved a high of 47,154.93 and a low of 46,622.06, marking a change of 563.54 points or 1.21 percent. Similarly, the KSE100 index recorded a high of 154,511.32 and a low of 153,129.78, reflecting a change of 1,611.47 points or 1.06 percent.

The market turnover surged to 1,078,410,471 compared to the previous 954,327,333, with the traded value reaching 59,949,696,634 from 46,053,297,660. The market capitalization increased to 18,133,121,387,084 from 17,982,608,503,778.

In futures trading, there was a slight decrease in turnover from 202,462,000 to 194,283,000, though the traded value rose to 13,080,660,455 from 10,885,858,425. Open Deliveries saw an increase from 526 to 843, with a traded value rising from 9,934 to 14,514.
