KSE Indices Surge as Market Shows Strong Gains


Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) indices experienced significant gains as both the KSE30 and KSE100 saw substantial increases in their current values compared to previous figures. The KSE30 rose by 1,418.41 points, a 3.12% increase, while the KSE100 climbed by 4,276.09 points, marking a 2.85% rise.



According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the turnover for regular markets reached 397,465,659 compared to the previous 260,428,618, with the traded value increasing to 22,352,497,792 from 17,205,189,258. Market capitalization also rose, reaching 17,254,970,751,401 from the prior 16,793,123,402,877. Despite a drop in the deferred settlement contracts (DFC) turnover from 124,467,000 to 107,911,000, the traded value saw an increase from 5,910,730,785 to 6,497,431,820. The odd lots (ODL) segment also noted a rise, with turnover moving from 392 to 1,032 and traded value increasing from 7,259 to 17,900. No changes were observed in the continuous funding system (CSF) segment.
