Karachi: The Karachi Stock Exchange experienced a mixed trading session, with the KSE100 index closing lower while the KSE30 index saw a slight uptick. The KSE100 index fell by 186.83 points, closing at 182,153.55, while the KSE30 index rose by 75.98 points, ending the day at 55,771.26.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the KSE100 index reached a high of 183,216.67 and a low of 181,499.29 during the trading session. In contrast, the KSE30 index recorded a high of 55,986.47 and a low of 55,492.17. The percentage change for the KSE100 index was a decrease of 0.10%, whereas the KSE30 index saw an increase of 0.14%.
The market turnover was reported at 1,062,309,829, up from the previous session’s 931,362,727. The traded value also saw a decrease, with the current figure standing at 37,883,758,147 compared to the previous 58,875,675,277. The market capitalization dropped to 20,633,749,846,560 from 20,710,144,989,649 in the last session.
The session’s trading activity highlighted mixed investor sentiment, with some indices showing gains and others experiencing declines.
