Pioneer Cement Limited (PIOC) also rose by 10%, reaching 209.18, while Cherat Cement Company Limited (CHCC) posted a 9.96% increase, ending at 291.58. Other notable gainers included Kot Addu Power Company Limited (KTML) and Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited (MEHT), both showing significant gains.
Conversely, several stocks experienced declines. Abbott Laboratories Pakistan Limited (ABOT) led the list of losers with a 10% drop, closing at 1,121.61. K-Electric Limited (KEL) and Bank of Punjab (BNWM) also saw declines of 3.48% and 3.18%, respectively.

Regionally, the performance of the KSE100 index contrasted with several Asian markets. While China's SSEA remained flat, indices in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines experienced declines ranging from 0.1% to 0.9%.
