KSE100 Index Sees Slight Gains Amid Stagnant KSE30 Performance

Karachi: The KSE100 index recorded a modest gain on March 17, 2026, while the KSE30 index remained virtually unchanged. The former closed at 150,016.16, representing an increase of 837.50 points or 0.56%, while the latter ended at 45,486.46, down slightly by 1.03 points.

According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the KSE100 index reached a high of 151,503.47 and a low of 148,509.05 during the trading session. The KSE30 index fluctuated between a high of 45,900.37 and a low of 44,846.94. The market turnover saw a decline, with 260,428,618 shares traded compared to the previous session's 298,270,588. The traded value fell to 17,205,189,258 from 20,185,228,434.

Market capitalization stood at 16,793,123,402,877, a slight decrease from the previous session's 16,825,134,856,255. The DFC segment saw an increase in turnover, with 124,467,000 shares traded compared to 90,270,500 in the last session. The traded value in the DFC segment was 5,910,730,785, down from 7,738,137,300. The ODL segment recorded a turnover of 392 shares, with a traded value of 7,259, both down from the previous session.
