KSE30 and KSE100 Indices Rise as Turnover Increases

Karachi: The KSE30 and KSE100 indices of the Pakistan Stock Exchange posted gains on June 18, 2026, reflecting a positive movement in the market. The KSE30 index rose by 257.23 points to close at 54,098.50, while the KSE100 index increased by 887.19 points, closing at 181,398.22. This corresponds to percentage increases of 0.48% and 0.49% for the KSE30 and KSE100 indices, respectively.

According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the day's trading saw a significant increase in turnover. The registered market turnover reached 1,241,700,978 shares, up from the previous session's 1,230,536,427 shares. The traded value for the regular market was reported at 58,014,705,601, a decline from 69,215,806,566 in the previous session. Despite the decrease in traded value, the overall market capitalization rose to 20,246,089,905,144 from 20,125,373,743,113.

In other market segments, the Deliverable Future Contracts (DFC) turnover also showed an uptrend with 277,460,500 shares traded, a significant increase from the previous 193,175,000 shares. The traded value in the DFC segment was reported at 11,523,062,225, compared to 10,519,762,830 previously. The Open Deliverable Futures (ODL) segment saw a decrease, with turnover dropping to 1,045 from 4,698 shares, and traded value reducing to 27,077 from 94,872. The Continuous Funding System (CSF) recorded no activity.
