Lahore: The Central Business District Punjab (CBD) unveiled plans for the imminent launch of the Lahore Global Village (LGV), poised to revitalize the city’s commercial, dining, and leisure sectors. The announcement, made on September 30, positions LGV as a cornerstone in Lahore's evolution into a contemporary commercial hub.
According to Zameen.Com, a delegation from the CBD Punjab, including Saqlain Akbar, Deputy Director of Urban Planning, and Faran Sadiq, Assistant Director of Retail Sales, recently conducted an onsite review at LGV to monitor the development's commercial progress. They were accompanied by officials from the CBD Punjab Technical Directorate, underscoring the project's strategic importance and ensuring adherence to the development timeline.
The site visit included discussions with Genesis Properties’ Chairman Habib Nawaz and CEO Raheel Iftikhar, who confirmed that the project is nearing completion. Nawaz expressed enthusiasm about the development's potential, noting, "The Lahore Global Village is poised to become a key landmark in Lahore’s commercial landscape. We are working diligently to ensure that everything is ready for the operational launch, and we’re excited to welcome visitors soon.”
A spokesperson for the CBD Punjab highlighted the project's significance, stating, “This project is a significant milestone in Lahore’s journey to becoming a global commercial hub. The Lahore Global Village will not only boost economic activity but also elevate the city’s profile as a modern destination for business and leisure.” The LGV promises to offer a unique blend of retail, dining, and entertainment options, strategically designed to attract both local and international visitors.
