LDA Accelerates Completion of Band Road Controlled Access Corridor Project

Lahore, The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has intensified its efforts to complete the Controlled Access Corridor Project on Band Road, aiming to meet stringent deadlines and enhance traffic flow.

According to Zameen.Com, A special meeting was convened by LDA Director General Tahir Farooq at the project site office to discuss the acceleration of Package-II of the project. DG Farooq emphasized the importance of adhering to the deadlines set by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, stating that there will be no tolerance for delays in constructing the accompanying service road. He directed the immediate deployment of additional labor and machinery to ensure daily targets are met and instructed that work on service roads from Saggian to Babu Sabu Interchange proceed uninterrupted, both day and night. The meeting also addressed the need for expedited drain cleaning and the swift transfer of services. Key attendees included LDA Chief Engineer Israr Saeed, the contractor, the project director, and representatives from NESPAK.
