Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Governing Body has decided to enforce the recovery of development charges from allottees who have defaulted on their payments in the first and second ballots of LDA City.
According to Zameen.Com, the decision was revealed during the LDA's second meeting, which was chaired by Vice Chairman Mian Marghoob Ahmed. Defaulting allottees have been given a two-month period to settle their dues at the current rates before an increase is implemented. In addition to the recovery enforcement, a one-year extension has been granted for the payment schedule of commercial plots and file holders in the Jinnah Sector of LDA City. The meeting also saw the supervisory committee receiving authority to set terms for the sale of new plots in the Jinnah Sector, and uniform special feature charges were approved to be based on District Commissioner (DC) rates.
