Karachi: Lucky Cement Limited has announced the successful completion and operational commencement of its 28.8 MW captive wind power project at the company’s Karachi plant as of October 22, 2024. This initiative positions Lucky Cement as the first in Pakistan to launch a hybrid renewable energy project on this scale, integrating both wind and solar power.
According to Lucky Cement Limited, the project was completed within the set timelines and budget, marking a significant step toward sustainable energy use in the industry.
