Islamabad: Mari Petroleum Company Limited issued a public notice today warning against a fraudulent job advertisement circulating on social media platforms. The notice declared that the job posting, which promised employment opportunities at Mari Petroleum, is entirely bogus and unauthorized by the company.

According to Mari Petroleum Company Limited, the counterfeit advertisement appeared on social media on June 29, 2024, and has been misleading prospective job applicants. The company has officially disassociated itself from this fake advertisement and emphasized that it will not be responsible for any losses incurred by individuals due to this scam. Mari Petroleum also reserved the right to take legal action against those responsible for creating and distributing the fraudulent content.

The company urged the public to remain vigilant and to verify the authenticity of any job advertisements by consulting their official communication channels. The fraudulent notice included details mimicking official Mari Petroleum branding, misleading potential applicants about the nature of the opportunities available.
