Karachi: Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s leading Islamic bank, and Mastercard have renewed their strategic partnership, aiming to enhance the debit card experience for customers nationwide. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Syed Amir Ali, Deputy CEO of Meezan Bank, and Mr. J. K. Khalil, Regional President of Mastercard, marking a continued collaboration that promises to transform customer interactions with financial services.

According to Meezan Bank Limited, the partnership will focus on expanding the bank’s premium debit card services, introducing new benefits tailored to meet the needs of affluent customers. These enhancements include improved convenience, exclusive access to travel and lifestyle perks, and an advanced digital banking experience.

The initiative also builds on the history of collaboration between the two organizations, which includes recent developments like a Mastercard-led cybersecurity workshop—the first of its kind in Pakistan. This event was part of the launch of Mastercard’s new cybersecurity service in the region.
