Meezan Bank Partners with Haball to Enhance Digital Payments and Cash Management Services

Karachi: Meezan Bank, a leader in Islamic banking in Pakistan, has entered into a referral arrangement with Haball Pvt Ltd, a leading digital payments platform. This partnership is poised to enhance Meezan Bank's cash management offerings and expand its digital services to a wider customer base.

According to Meezan Bank Limited, the agreement was signed by Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Ahmed, Group Head - Transaction and International Banking Group at Meezan Bank, and Mr. Omer Bin Ahsan, CEO of Haball. Through this arrangement, Meezan Bank’s clients will gain access to Haball’s advanced multi-bank cash management services, allowing them to fully digitize their order management lifecycle and enjoy the ease of receiving dealer collections directly into their Meezan accounts from any bank.

Mr. Abdullah Ahmed expressed enthusiasm about the partnership at the signing event, noting the potential benefits for customers of both institutions. He emphasized the goal of streamlining the payments process and improving cash flow for businesses in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Mr. Omer Bin Ahsan highlighted the commitment to innovation in the digital payments sector, expecting the collaboration to deliver significant value to their clients.

The partnership marks a strategic move by Meezan Bank to leverage digital innovation to enhance its service delivery and extend the reach of its products such as Meezan eBiz+ and Meezan Payroll Partner. Meezan Bank’s Transaction and Employee Banking (TEB) unit offers a range of traditional and contemporary cash management services, including digital payment solutions for various business segments. This includes facilities for processing vendor payments, utility bills, taxes, dividends, and payroll transfers.
