Karachi: MG Motors Pakistan recently celebrated a significant milestone with the line-off ceremony of its 1000th locally assembled MG HS Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) at its plant in Lahore. This event underscores MG's commitment to advancing sustainable mobility in Pakistan since the vehicle's launch in October 2024 and the start of local production in January 2025.
The MG HS PHEV has quickly gained traction among Pakistani consumers, appreciated for its design, cost efficiency, and environmentally friendly features. With over 900 units already delivered, the milestone of the 1000th vehicle highlights MG's growing influence in the hybrid vehicle market in Pakistan.
MG Pakistan has also announced an enhancement to the HS PHEV, offering a 7KW fast charger at no extra cost, addressing customer concerns about lengthy charging times. This upgrade reduces charging time by nearly half. The original portable charger will now be available as an accessory.
"We are proud to roll out the 1000th MG HS PHEV," stated Syed Asif Ahmed, General Manager Marketing Division. He emphasized the vehicle's role in urban mobility and the company's dedication to providing advanced hybrid technology that caters to the needs of Pakistani drivers.
