Lahore: MG Pakistan has announced the introduction of the MG U9, a luxury off-roader aimed at the high-end pickup segment in Pakistan. Nationwide pre-bookings have commenced for this new model, with its official launch set for January 2026 and customer deliveries beginning the following month.

Pakistan is the second country after Australia to receive the MG U9, highlighting MG's strategy to bring advanced vehicle models to local consumers early. The MG U9 represents a new wave of intelligent and powerful off-road vehicles, offering a sophisticated option in its class.

The MG U9 combines advanced engineering with premium design, offering a blend of SUV comfort and pickup performance. Its design features include bold geometric surfaces, a wide front grille, Matrix LED headlights, and 20-inch Cyclone Force alloy wheels, presenting a modern and strong road presence.

The vehicle is equipped with a 2.5L Turbo Diesel engine, providing 160 kW of power and 520 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Its BorgWarner Intelligent 4WD system enhances its capability across various terrains, including extreme off-roading. Safety features include a 5-Star ANCAP rating, seven airbags, Level 2 ADAS, and Bosch's latest stability systems.

Inside, the MG U9 offers a refined cabin with industrial-inspired design and high-end technology. It includes dual 12.3-inch digital displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker JBL sound system, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof. Comfort features such as power-adjustable front seats with heating, ventilation, and massage options for the driver further enhance the cabin experience.
