Mobilink Bank and TPL Life Join Forces to Deliver Urgent Healthcare in Flood-Hit Regions

Karachi: Pakistan's prominent digital microfinance entity, Mobilink Bank, has teamed up with TPL Life, a digital insurance company, to provide vital healthcare services to communities devastated by floods in Punjab. This partnership has led to the establishment of medical camps in regions such as Pakpattan, Sialkot, and Minchinabad (Bahawalnagar), aiming to restore healthcare access for those whose medical facilities were demolished or unreachable due to the deluge.

This endeavor highlights the organizations' dedication to social responsibility and timely humanitarian action. The camps, operational for a single day, provided a range of healthcare services at no cost, including medical examinations, consultations, medication distribution, and tetanus shots. The response was significant, with over 300 individuals receiving treatment, underscoring both the urgent need for healthcare in these regions and the success of the outreach.

Atta Ur Rehman, Chief Business Officer of Mobilink Bank, emphasized, "In light of the recent floods, there was an immediate necessity to reinstate medical services in areas where infrastructure suffered most. By delivering these essential services directly to impacted customers in rural and suburban locations, we reiterated our commitment to supporting those who need us most."

Echoing this sentiment, Saad Nissar, CEO of TPL Life Insurance Limited, remarked, "This initiative is a testament to the significant impact achievable when like-minded organizations come together for a noble cause. Through our collaboration with Mobilink Bank, we have provided crucial healthcare to communities during their most vulnerable times."

The synergy between Mobilink Bank's operational reach and TPL Life's medical proficiency ensured that quality healthcare was delivered effectively. This collaboration illustrates the strength of partnerships in facilitating positive social change and reinforces Mobilink Bank’s role as a conscientious financial institution prioritizing community welfare.
