Modern Sewerage System Implemented on Walton Road as ADA Nullah Diverted

Lahore: In a critical update to the Walton Road Upgrade Project, the Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab) has successfully redirected the old ADA Nullah into a new channel and launched a modern disposal station.

According to Zameen.Com, this significant development aims to rectify longstanding sewerage issues on Walton Road, which had been exacerbated by the old ADA Nullah. The new sewerage infrastructure is designed to support the sanitation needs of approximately 1 million local residents. Celebrating this milestone, CBD Punjab officials, including CEO Imran Amin and COO Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua, were joined by senior PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and other dignitaries for a site review, where the importance of this project in improving local infrastructure and community sanitation was emphasized. The upgrade, which costs an estimated PKR 9 billion, not only aims to enhance the sewerage system but also to alleviate traffic congestion and boost the quality of life for the area's residents and businesses.
