NADRA Partners with Bank of Punjab to Launch E-Payment Gateway for Enhanced Service Delivery

Islamabad: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has partnered with the Bank of Punjab (BOP) to launch an e-Payment Gateway and Acquiring Agreement, a significant move to boost digital payment infrastructure in Pakistan. This collaboration aims to enhance the efficiency of service delivery by providing secure and innovative payment solutions.

According to The Bank of Punjab, this initiative aligns with the vision of advancing digital banking services across the nation. The agreement was officially signed by Mr. Rehman Qamar, Chief Projects Officer at NADRA, and Mr. Nofel Daud, Chief Digital Officer at BOP. The signing ceremony was attended by key officials from both organizations, marking a milestone in digital financial collaboration.

Zafar Masud, President and CEO of the Bank of Punjab, emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership, highlighting its potential to offer more secure and innovative payment solutions to the citizens. This initiative is expected to streamline transactions and facilitate easier access to government services through digital means, reinforcing the commitment to digital transformation in the country’s public sector.
