Lahore: The Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) announced the election of Nazir Hussain as its new President during its 10th Annual General Meeting. Brig. Mansoor Saeed Sheikh (Retd) SI(M) was elected as Senior Vice-President, and Zafar Iqbal as Vice President. The event, chaired by the outgoing President Moazzam Ghurki, also saw the election of five new members to the Executive Committee.
According to Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nazir Hussain, in his acceptance speech, expressed gratitude for the achievements under Moazzam Ghurki’s leadership. He emphasized his commitment to leveraging his business networks for the chamber’s advancement and represented PCJCCI across various business forums to promote its objectives.
Brig. Mansoor Saeed Sheikh assured that he would uphold the momentum of progress established by the outgoing president and expressed ambitions to enhance Pakistan’s Special Economic Zones as part of the next phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Zafar Iqbal and Mr. Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General of PCJCCI, acknowledged the continuous support of the chamber’s members and representatives, vital for the success of its initiatives.
