Lahore: Nestle Pakistan has inaugurated a new Nestle for Healthier Kids (N4HK) room at The Trust School Lahore, aiming to enhance nutrition awareness among children. This initiative is part of the global N4HK program which focuses on educating children about the importance of healthy nutrition and physical activity to foster healthier future generations.

According to Nestle Pakistan Limited, the N4HK program has already made significant strides in Pakistan, reaching over 360,000 kids, training more than 2,300 teachers, and establishing 17 N4HK rooms in collaboration with 11 partners from both the private and public sectors. Béatrice Guillaume-Grabisch, Global Head of Human Resources at Nestle S.A., who inaugurated the room, emphasized the program’s role in promoting a healthier future and not just educating on the fundamentals of nutrition.

Jason Avanceña, CEO of Nestle Pakistan, highlighted the strengthened partnership with The Trust School, noting the establishment of three N4HK rooms and training initiatives that have reached over 10,000 children across various branches. Tahir Yousaf, CEO of The Trust School, expressed gratitude towards Nestle Pakistan for their support in delivering quality education to underprivileged students at 13 campuses across Lahore.

The N4HK initiative supports educators and caregivers with a curriculum-based program that promotes healthy nutrition, hydration, hygiene, and an active lifestyle across various regions including Punjab, the Federal Capital, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Gilgit Baltistan. This program aligns with Nestle’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of Good Health and Well-Being.
