Lahore: Nestle Pakistan reported a 6.2% increase in revenue, reaching PKR 107.7 billion for the six-month period ending June 30, 2024. The growth was announced after a Board of Directors’ meeting at the company's head office.
According to Nestle Pakistan Limited, the revenue increase was driven by broad-based growth across the company's product portfolio, enhanced by a favorable product mix and robust demand-generating activities. Despite these gains, the company faced challenges with rising commodity and energy prices and increased investments in brand development, which led to a decline in operating profit.
Looking ahead, Nestle Pakistan maintains a cautious outlook for the remainder of the year, anticipating impacts from the new tax regulations introduced in the Federal budget 2024-25 and ongoing external economic challenges.
