Lahore: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has officially launched a new fleet of air-conditioned double-decker buses in Lahore, aimed at enhancing the city’s public transport system and providing a novel travel option for residents and tourists alike.
According to Zameen.Com, the new bus service will feature terminals constructed in key areas including DHA Phase 6, the Central Business District (CBD), and Safari. The route will connect significant landmarks such as the Shadilal Building, Chowberji, and Poonch House. The launch event was attended by several dignitaries, including Senior Provincial Minister Marrium Aurangzeb, Secretary of Tourism Farid Ahmed Tarar, TDCP Managing Director Humira Ikram, GM Operations Wahid Arjamand, and Project Incharge Ashfaq Ahmed Dogar, among others.
